Register to Vote

Good government requires the participation of all citizens. The State of Georgia makes it very easy to register and to vote. Voter registration cutoff is always 30 days before the date of primaries or general elections. Dates vary for special elections.

In order to register in Bibb County, you must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age on date of election (17 ½ at registration), and a resident of Bibb County. No standard length of residency is required. You must have no felony conviction, unless rights have been restored.

You may register to vote at any of the following locations:

  • All public libraries
  • Drivers License Bureau
  • Department of Family and Children Services
  • Board of Elections (2445 Pio Nono Avenue)
  • City Hall (700 Poplar Street)

You may also register by mail, by filling in this online form, printing it, signing it, and mailing it to the Secretary of State (address provided on the form) or to the Bibb County Board of Elections at 2445 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, GA 31206.

Once you have registered, your registration is permanent, but you must notify the Board of Elections of your address changes. Call them at 478/621-6622 if you have any questions.
