Headquarters Opening

The Bibb County Democratic Party, in cooperation with the Georgia Democratic Party, has opened a headquarters at 428 Second Street in downtown Macon. This convenient location, near Cherry Street and directly across from the SunTrust Bank, is a resource for all of Middle Georgia.

Our next open house will be on First Friday, August 1, from 5:00 until 8:00. Beginning August 18, the office will be open and staffed on a regular basis. Our telephone number is 478/747-1000.

Congratulations to our delegates who were elected on April 19 to represent Georgia's 8th Congressional District. They will be going to the 2008 Democratic National Convention which will be held in Denver, Colorado August 25 - 28, 2008.
